I gave my life to Christ one night while my mom was tucking me into bed when I was five years old. I went to church, a Christian school in junior high, and three mission trips in high school. I had a relationship with God throughout that time but was still living life feeling defeated and hating myself.

Then, when I was thirty years old, I started attending a church that lived out God’s love and truly made disciples of men. At the same time I started attending the church I also started an online Bible study through Healing Hearts Ministries. Through both the church and the study I was experiencing healing through God’s Word. It was a powerful time in which I truly began to understand and feel the depths of God’s love for me and the chains of defeat and self-hatred breaking off. Since then, my heart has been to help others find the same freedom in Christ I have.

After finishing the online Bible study, I became an e-counselor for Healing Hearts Ministries and lead other women through the studies from 2013 – 2018. From 2015 – 2020 I owned a hand painted mug business, something I never imagined myself doing in my wildest dreams. However, God used that business to open the door for me to share about my faith on two tv shows, a podcast, as well as speaking engagements.  In 2020 I published my first book, 28 Days of Love, a devotional about God’s love. Having an entrepreneurial spirit, I was excited when God lead me to start an apparel business, Free Life Apparel, in 2023.

In my free time I love spending time with my husband and three boys (ages 2, 15, and 20). Some of my favorite activities are hiking, fishing, baking, and laughing with a friend over a good cup of coffee.
