God knows where my heart longs to be on this earth. I know it won’t be too long now until He takes me there.
But the waiting.
The waiting can be difficult at times. When you know what your heart longs for is God’s plan for you and you don’t fit in where you are, it can be hard. However, this “waiting room” is an opportunity to grow in my faith, patience, and ability to bloom where I’m planted. I also hold fast to the truth that God’s timing is perfect and if I rush things by taking the wheel, I’ll be getting something less than. God’s plan is way better than mine and He can do far more than I can. In fact, the Bible says He can do “exceedingly, abundantly above and beyond all we could ask or think.”
Today God blessed me a preview of coming attractions for this promise I’ve been believing for. This “preview” has been so close to me but tucked away and hidden. Only when I took a path of the main road did I find it. It’s there whenever I need it.
I’ll continue being grateful where I am even though it’s not where I want to be. I’ll continue to be grateful that where I am now is better than where I used to be. I know my roots are planted in Him and because of that I can bloom where I’m planted.
